According to a study published in the journal JAMA, men who took 100mg of Sildenafil daily for six months or longer experienced similar ED to those without ED.
In the year 2000, the Texas attorney general sued several companies for allegedly withholding sales of Viagra, a drug that treats erectile dysfunction.
In a lawsuit filed on behalf of a group of men who were taking Viagra, the attorney general said that, while the drug was not approved by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration, it was widely available and could be used in any market.
“The public is encouraged to be cautious when it comes to health benefits of a medication such as Viagra,” said Mark Stearns, director of the Texas Office of Criminal Investigation, which is investigating a case that could be filed under the Food and Drug Administration’s oversight of erectile dysfunction drug sales.
The drug, called sildenafil, is a PDE5 inhibitor that helps men maintain an erection when they’re sexually stimulated. It’s available in generic form and is used in 50 mg, 150 mg, and 200 mg dosages. In 2003, the drug was approved in the United States and other countries for use in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
The suit, filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, was filed by men who suffered erectile dysfunction after taking sildenafil. The suit was filed more than a decade ago, when the U. Food and Drug Administration approved Viagra to treat erectile dysfunction. The drug, which is still under review by the FDA, is marketed as a “little blue pill,” and the Food and Drug Administration has not approved the drug for sexual use.
The suit is based on the drug’s ability to prevent a heart attack or a stroke while it’s being used as an ED treatment. That means that Viagra can be taken with or without food, or with a pill that you swallow.
Viagra was approved in 1998 as the first oral ED drug. About a year later, in 1999, and Viagra was approved in the United States. Viagra’s side effects, such as an erection that lasts more than four hours, can include vision problems, heart problems, and priapism, a painful erection lasting more than four hours.
As part of the drug’s marketing effort, the drug was made available only for use in the United States. Some of the companies that marketed the drug were found to have failed to warn consumers about the potential side effects. A warning label that the company took from drug makers did not mention the side effects of sildenafil.
The suit, filed in Texas state court, alleges that the company knew of the risks associated with Viagra and failed to properly warn consumers of the side effects, including those that could occur when a man is taking the drug.
“This is a very serious issue,” said Texas attorney general James B. Stearns. “It’s going to hurt consumers in the future.”
The suit seeks to hold the companies accountable for failing to warn consumers of the side effects of the drug.
The suit also asks that a jury determine whether the company properly disclosed the information about the side effects and failed to adequately warn consumers about the risks associated with the drug.
In the suit, Stearns and other lawyers, including attorneys from the U. Chamber of Commerce and the National Women’s Law Center, filed a motion that a federal judge order the company to pay $1.4 million in compensatory damages for damage to its reputation for promoting women’s sexual health.
The suit was filed in federal court in San Antonio last week.
